Paramount+ price (October 2026) and how to cancel Paramount Plus

Paramount+ raised prices in early 2026. The yearly plans work out to about two months free compared with paying monthly, but they are paid upfront, so only buy a year if you're sure.

How to cancel Paramount+

On the web

1. Go to paramountplus.com and sign in.
2. Select your profile name (top right) and choose Account.
3. Select Cancel Subscription.
4. Work through the retention offer screens and confirm the cancellation.

iPhone or iPad (Apple billing)

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
2. Tap Subscriptions.
3. Tap Paramount+.
4. Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial), then confirm.

Android (Google Play billing)

1. Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
2. Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
3. Select Paramount+.
4. Tap Cancel subscription, pick a reason and confirm.

Amazon Prime Video Channels or Roku

1. Amazon: Amazon.com > Memberships & Subscriptions > Prime Video Channels > Paramount+ > Cancel Channel.
2. Roku: my.roku.com > Manage your subscriptions > Unsubscribe.

Refunds

Paramount+ doesn't refund partial monthly periods; access continues to the end of the paid month. Annual subscriptions aren't refunded after the purchase is processed except where required by law. If you were charged for a renewal you forgot about, contact Paramount+ support quickly and ask - occasional goodwill refunds are possible but not promised.

Essential vs Premium: which to keep

If you're cancelling because of price, downgrading to Essential saves $5 a month ($50 a year on annual). You lose Showtime titles, live local CBS (except NFL games) and downloads. If those are why you subscribed, keep Premium for the season and cancel afterward.

Alternatives

Pluto TV, which Paramount also owns, is free and carries many older CBS, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central shows. An antenna gets your local CBS station for free.

Paramount+ or Peacock this month?

If you're keeping only one budget streamer, decide with a 30-day list rather than the whole library:

1. Write down the shows, films and sports you'll actually watch this month.
2. If most are Paramount+ or CBS titles, keep Paramount+ and cancel Peacock.
3. If most are Peacock or NBC titles, keep Peacock and cancel Paramount+.
4. If neither list is long, cancel both and use free apps until the next premiere.
