In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Apple TV (formerly Apple TV+) costs $14.99 a month after a free 7-day trial - US list price from Apple's Apple TV page - and is included in every Apple One plan, which starts at $21.95 a month. To cancel on iPhone or iPad, open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Apple TV > Cancel Subscription (Apple Support: Cancel Apple TV); on the web, you can cancel at tv.apple.com or account.apple.com.
It also comes free with the Apple Music Student plan, new Apple device buyers get 3 months free, and up to six people can share one subscription. If you're on a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
Apple dropped the plus sign in 2025, so the service now appears as Apple TV on Apple's site and in Subscriptions, while older bank statements and guides may still say Apple TV+. Apple also includes it free for 3 months with an eligible new Apple device and with the Apple Music Student plan - if your charge started after one of those offers ended, that's why. Check whether the renewing subscription is standalone Apple TV or an Apple One bundle before you cancel.

How to cancel Apple TV (formerly Apple TV+)
iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Apple TV.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial), then confirm.
- If Apple TV comes with Apple One, cancel or change Apple One instead. When you cancel Apple One, Apple lets you choose which individual subscriptions to keep.
Mac
- Open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings.
- Under Subscriptions, click Manage, select Apple TV or Apple One, then cancel.
Web
- Cancel at tv.apple.com or account.apple.com - Apple says you can cancel Apple TV on the web; sign in with the Apple Account that pays for it and open its subscription settings.
If a carrier or other partner bills you
- Open the Apple TV app > settings/account and see who the billing partner is.
- Cancel with that partner if Apple Subscriptions does not list it.

Request Apple subscription refunds through reportaproblem.apple.com. Approval is not guaranteed, especially mid-cycle.
Apple One warning
Cancelling Apple One can remove Music, Arcade and extra iCloud storage together. Switch to a smaller Apple One tier or standalone Apple TV if you only want to drop part of the bundle.

Apple TV always includes Family Sharing, even on Apple One Individual. If you cancel Apple One, Apple lets you choose which individual subscriptions to keep, and those are then billed separately.
Why don't I see Apple TV+ in Subscriptions?
Apple now lists it as Apple TV. It may also be billed by your wireless carrier or another provider, or included in your Apple One plan - in that case it won't appear as a separate subscription.
Can I cancel during a free trial?
Yes - cancel at least 24 hours before the 7-day trial ends to avoid the first charge.
